Choose the Care Path that Fits You

For patients who do not live in Spokane or want the convenience of not needing to be seen in person. Virtual visits allow patients anywhere in Washington to see us for headache and/or direct primary care.

For individuals with L&I workers’ comp-related headache. We see worsening migraines, concussive headaches, and other work-related headache claims.

For migraine, chronic migraine, post-traumatic headache, second opinions, Botox, nerve blocks, and treatment planning. We offer straightforward visit or membership pricing*.

For adults who want a primary care doctor with longer visits, direct access, and simple cash pricing or Traditional Medicare billing*.

*At this time, we only accept payment directly by HSA, Traditional Medicare, Washington L&I, or directly by patients. We offer ‘superbills’ to patients who pay directly to submit to their insurance for reimbursement.

Care that gives you more time, more clarity, and more options.

At Northwest DPC & Headache, you can come to us for ongoing primary care, headache care only, or both. We offer longer visits, transparent pricing, and a more direct relationship with your physician.

For many patients, care is HSA or self-pay. With limitations, we also accept and bill Traditional Medicare. We also accept and bill Washington L&I/workers’ comp headache care through a separate pathway.

Whether you need a long-term primary care doctor, focused migraine treatment, a second opinion, or follow-up after a workplace injury, we help you get to the right care without the usual runaround.

Brief FAQ

  • Yes. We are accepting new adult patients for both primary care and specialized headache care. We also are accepting both L&I and Traditional Medicare patients.

You can see us for ongoing primary care, headache care only, or both.

  • Most patients use direct-pay options.

    We offer:

    • Direct Primary Care membership

    • Headache membership

    • Headache direct-pay / pay-per-visit care

We also offer select Traditional Medicare primary care and Washington L&I / workers’ comp headache care through separate pathways.

  • We accept Traditional Medicare Part B and Medigap for select adults and currently with limited availability.

We do not accept Medicare Advantage plans at this time.

If you have Traditional Medicare and want to become a patient, call or schedule to confirm fit and current availability.

  • No. You can come to us for headache care only.

Some patients choose a headache membership for ongoing care, while others prefer direct-pay / pay-per-visit visits.

  • No. You do not need insurance to become a member. However, we are not a form of insurance.

We do not bill commercial insurance. Many patients keep a high-deductible or catastrophic insurance plan for hospital care, surgery, and specialists, and use our direct primary care membership for everyday medical needs. You can also use HSA funds for membership & any procedures.

  • Many people with insurance still feel frustrated with their care. Premiums keep going up, deductibles are high, copays add up, networks are narrow, referrals are required, and coverage is often denied for the care you actually want.

    Our clinic works differently.

At Northwest DPC & Headache, you pay us directly instead of going through your insurance for primary and headache care. That allows us to:

    • Offer simple, flat pricing instead of surprise bills

    • Take more time with you at each visit

    • Give you shorter wait times and more flexible scheduling

We also have time to help you use your insurance when it makes sense - such as for medications, imaging, or referrals. Many headache and migraine treatments are not well covered or are hard to access, like Botox, nerve blocks, and trigger point injections, so we also sometimes utilize insurance to pay for the medication. We don’t get paid by your insurance, but we can still work with you to try to get coverage when possible and help you navigate those hoops.

Most of all, we focus on you—listening carefully, doing a thoughtful exam, and using up-to-date, evidence-based care to build a plan that fits your life. Your visits aren’t rushed, and you’re treated like a person, not a number.
